Projects to Save the Bobcat
Below are a few organizations dedicated to saving bobcats and other wildlife in New Jersey. These organizations have volunteer projects so that anyone can get involved in and help their states wildlife.



Defenders of Wildlife
Defenders of Wildlife is an organization that protects and restores endangered species throughout North America in many different ways. The three main ways by which they protect and restore are on the ground, with state, national, and international policy makers, and in the courts. On the ground, they develop prazctical and innovative programs that protect and restore key species and habitats and inform our national policy work and the state and local level. They work with policy makers in order to secure laws and policies that protect animals and their habitats. In the courts, they work to establish legal safeguards for native wildlife and fighting efforts to roll back environmental protections.

New Jersey Conservation Foundation
The mission of New Jersey Conservation Foundation is to preserve New Jerseys land and natural resources for the denefit of all. They protect wildlife in New Jersey by protecting natural areas and farmland through land aquisition and stewardship. They also promote stron NJ land use policies as well as safeguarding clean driking water and other natural resources. They have protected over 130,000 acres of natural areas and farmland.

National Bobcat Rescue and Research
NBRR is a nonprofit organization based in Texas dedicated to saving the Bobcats of the nation. They focus on educating people about bobcats and how they can help save them. They also focus on understanding the bobcat's behavior in order to gain more knowledge on how to save and preserve them.
